Lithium Iron Phosphate Project

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4, hereinafter LFP) has found already a wide application as a cathode material for Li-ion batteries because of relatively high capacity and safety. However, long term stability and reproducibility of characteristics of LFP manufactured by a common mechanical-chemical method doesn’t satisfy the rising customer’s requirements.

Mineral Ltd. has developed hydrothermal industrial technology that permits to decrease cost of raw materials and power consumption for LFP synthesis twice and improve electrochemical characteristics.

Our technology permits to avoid CO emission. It is impossible to achieve using the traditional method.

Developed hydrothermal technology can use standard industrial autoclaves originally designed for quartz growth.
